CCCTC School of Practical Nursing LPN

Licensed Practical Nurses provide to individuals and groups the nursing care requiring the application of basic knowledge of the biological, physical, behavioral, social, and nursing sciences at the direction of a licensed physician, dentist, podiatrist, optometrist, or registered nurse.

Licensed Practical Nursing emphasizes general nursing skills including medication administration and IV Therapy. This program prepares students to take the state licensing examination. Employment opportunities in practical nursing continue to be abundant.

We admit students on a rolling basis. Scoring in a successful range on the WorkKeys test will qualify you for the next round of screening. Schedule to take the admission test now!

LPN Class beginning Fall, 2011 has already begun. Plan now to get accepted into the Fall, 2012 class. 

LPN Class Information for Fall, 2012

Duration: 12 Month program / 1,200 Hours

Tuition: $10,500.00

Supply fee: $2,434.00 (includes uniforms, books and all supplies)
ALL lab fees MUST be paid in full prior to the semester starting.

Daytime and Evening classes available.

Class times 3pm to 10 pm, Monday through Friday

Or part time schedule 7 am to 4 pm Monday, Tuesday, Thursday
(takes 24 months: daytime program requires minimum enrollment to run)

NOW RECRUITING FOR 2012 CLASS! Students interested in taking this program must sit for an entrance test. A minimum score must be met to enter the program.

The test administered is the WorkKeys test. The three areas tested are Reading for Information, Locating Information and Applied Mathematics.

Testing for the next class will begin in January, 2012.
