LPN to RN Diploma Program

LPN to RN Packet
The packets for the April 2020 program will be made available on our website starting September 2019.
 
Checklist of Requirements LPN to RN:

ü

Complete WorkKeys and Score in the acceptable Range:
(5) in Reading/Workplace Documents,
(4) in Locating Information/Graphic Literacy and
(5) in Applied Math. These are minimum scores.  You may retake Workkeys one time if you would like to try to increase your chances of being accepted.

Official Transcript verifying graduation from a Practical Nursing Education Program as well as any other college transcriptsHaving completed College Science and College Algebra is a plus, be sure to submit if applicable.

ü

You must hold a current OH LPN License and your license will be pulled from the OBN Website as verification.  

ü

Provide proof from an employer of verification of one year recent experience working as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN), within the last three years.

WHAT CAN I DO NOW TO INCREASE MY CHANCES FOR SUCCESS AS

I CONSIDER TRANSITIONING FROM AN LPN TO RN?

Take a college level course in math or science and earn a grade of A or B.

No time to take a course, then review A & P and RN Pharmacology or Medication Math.

Review lab values and formulas needed/practice conversions

Retake your WorkKeys Exam for higher scores.

 

Program Details:

Upon successful completion of program, students will be eligible to sit for the NCLEX-RN and will receive a diploma in nursing. The program is approved by the Ohio Board of Nursing.


Length of Program:


48 weeks, 1344 hour program.


Classes are arranged as follows:
- 1 day per week in clinical activity
- 1 day per week in class at CCCTC
- 2 days of online activity

Cost:
- Program Tuition: $10,980.00
- Program Fees: $3,056.00

Financial aid is available to those who qualify.
ALL lab fees MUST be paid in full prior to the semester starting.
