Pharmacy Technician

The Pharmacy Technician program prepares the student to perform technical duties related to the preparation and dispensing of medication under the supervision of registered licensed pharmacists.  Pharmacy Technicians help prepare prescriptions by retrieving, counting, pouring, weighing, and measuring medication, and labeling bottles.  Students will be prepared to work in either retail or institutional setting.  The students successfully completing this course will take the national certification exam for Pharmacy Tech.

1st Semester
 - Pharmacy Technician Math 1
 - Medical Terminology 
 - Pharmacy Technician Skills 1
 - Professional Development/Computer Basics
 2nd Semester
 - Pharmacy Technician Skills 2
 - Anatomy & Physiology 
 - Pharmacy Technician Math 2
 - CPR/First Aid
 - Hospital Pharmacy Clinical
 - Community/Retail Pharmacy Clinical

*Half of any semester balance is due on the first night of class.
*A payment plan will be provided to you for the remainder of the balance
