NEW PROGRAM! Pharmacy Technician

At CCCTC Adult Education, we will begin offering training for those interested in careers as Pharmacy Technicians.  The course will begin next fall and will be a one semester program.  The curriculum for the Pharmacy Technician includes the following topics:

The role of a Pharmacy Technician
The ways drugs enter the body and the effects of them
Laws that dictate pharmacies
Medical Terminology
Commonly prescribed drugs
Hormones and painkillers
Metric and apothecary systems / Medication Math
Communication  and Careers

Cost for the program will be $3200 and a $700 lab fee which includes lab supplies and uniform.  Interested potential students can attend an information session this summer.  Call to be put on the list to be invited to attend 330-424-9562.
